“The buses were heading to Mosul University” says a witness who lived the tragedy of targeting buses that picked Christian students last Sunday “a roadside bomb was exploded, which made a huge confusion among us” another eyewitness says. Here comes the role of a brave man called “Radeef” he was one of those students who was heading to his university, at the time when the roadside bomb exploded, and in the middle of that confusion, a terrorist parked his pick-up truck right in the middle of the road when all buses stopped because of the roadside bomb. This pick-up truck drew the attention of our Hero “Radeef” which forced him to ask the terrorist, why he parked here? The terrorist replied saying that his gas is over, and he needs to get some gas to run his car. Out of “Radeef’s” intuition, he knew that this car is parked here for bad intentions, he called upon the students and the bus drivers to go back and run their engines and move as fast as they could. It was right, his intuition was right, the car exploded, and the terrorist ran away in the middle of that chaos.
Without the courage of “Radeef” a Christian young man, maybe hundreds of students would have been dead by now, this incident isn’t a fabricated movie, it’s real, and has very deep meanings in the faith and sacrifice of our Christian hero, and that he deserves the title of “Martyr of Students” which his fellow wounded students want to call him because of his sacrifice.
